Position Overview

Seeking a highly specialized FircoSoft Engineer with strong production experience in sanctions screening platforms. This is a core engineering role focused on architecture, performance, scalability, and full lifecycle ownership of FircoSoft solutions in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership

  • End-to-end ownership of FircoSoft solutions (design, development, configuration, optimization, production support)

  • Build high-throughput, low-latency sanctions screening workflows

  • Ensure platform scalability, stability, and resiliency

FircoSoft Engineering

  • Hands-on configuration and development using:

    • Continuity V6

    • Screening Preparation

    • Firco Utilities

  • Implement and upgrade FircoSoft components

  • Modernize and optimize legacy platforms

Development & Integration

  • Develop integrations using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot

  • Work with IBM MQ, Kafka, and messaging systems

  • Utilize Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

  • Implement microservices-based architecture

  • Develop shell scripts for automation and operations

Production & Performance

  • Monitor and analyze production performance

  • Identify bottlenecks and lead tuning initiatives

  • Support SDLC lifecycle including deployment and operational resilience

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

  • Work with Kubernetes and AWS concepts

Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with compliance, risk, and operations teams

  • Define architecture standards and best practices

  • Mentor engineers and act as a FircoSoft subject matter expert

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with FircoSoft (Continuity V6, Screening Preparation, Firco Utilities)

  • Java, J2EE, Spring Boot development expertise

  • IBM MQ, Kafka, messaging technologies

  • Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

  • Microservices architecture experience

  • Shell scripting

  • Enterprise-scale sanctions screening systems experience

  • Kubernetes and AWS exposure

  • CI/CD (Jenkins) and production support experience
