Summary/Objective

The role will be to perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming material, parts, tooling and components used in manufacturing process, subassemblies, in-process, semi-finished or finished products.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

  1. Perform inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies & finished products according to the defined criteria with physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
  2. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing in a timely manner.
  3. To rework or reject parts, subassemblies or finished products as required.
  4. To respond on certain urgent delivery, expedited and run daily receipts crystal when all parcels been received to check for missing items that didn’t come to QA.
  5. To respond for reject report issuing and Enter QP.
  6. To support on internal calibration, containment, Quarantine and sample verification.
  7. To follow work instruction without deviation unless approved by Engineering or Management.
  8. Any other job-related duties as assigned by Superior or Management.
  9. Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Required Experience

  1. 3 years in related / similar position

Preferred Education:

  1. Min GCE ‘O’ level and above / related technical or equivalent experience.
