Our client is a renowned global financial entity seeking talent to support their investment advisory segment through accurate transcription services. The focus of this role is to provide precise transcriptions of audio data.

About the Role
This role is open to individuals with a solid understanding of financial markets and investment terminology, gained through personal or educational experience. You do not need to be a professional transcriptionist; rather, your ability to accurately follow discussions in the language of financial markets is paramount. You’ll contribute to ensuring the clarity and accessibility of investment dialogues.

Tasks & Deliverables

• Task 1: Verbatim transcription of audio data following provided guidelines.
• Task 2: Review and evaluate corrections of AI-generated transcription summaries.
• You will work with different audio data formats, ensuring accurate transcription across various settings, including Zoom and phone calls.

Engagement Details

• Commitment Type: Full-Time (8 hours/day during 1 week)
• Duration: 1 week
• Location: On-site at  NYC, Chicago, Jersey City, Seattle, or Palo Alto.
• Start Date: Position available immediately

Requirements

Required Skills

• An understanding of financial terms such as ETFs, DOW, SPIDER, and tickers.
• Familiarity with both US markets and the stock trading landscape.
• Basic experience in buying and selling stocks (can be personal experience).
• Be fluent and hold the ability to comprehend and transcribe financial discussions in one of the following languages: Bahasa, Cantonese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to evaluate AI-generated summaries.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Previous experience in transcription, even if informal.
