PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
The Financial Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial planning and analysis processes. This position will dedicate approximately 70% of its time to managing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning and 30% as a Finance Business Partner, providing analytical support and insights to various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of financial systems, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Adaptive Insights Support (70%)
· Serve as an administrator for Adaptive Planning, ensuring system integrity, accuracy, and performance.
· Maintain and update models, dimensions, and hierarchies to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.
· Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and templates for finance and business stakeholders.
· Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or external vendors for resolution.
· Lead system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features or enhancements.
· Train finance team members and end-users on Adaptive functionality and best practices.
Finance Business Partner (30%)
· Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights and analysis that drive decision-making.
· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units.
· Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
· 6 years of experience in financial systems administration and FP&A roles.
· Hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning) required.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, JDE).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred:
· Experience with financial modeling and scenario planning.
· Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
