Financial Reporting Specialist – Sage Intacct (Temp)

Regardless of race, gender, orientation, or self-identification - we do our part as one by making room for all.   WHY WE NEED YOU  We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist (Temp) for a short-term engagement focused on data cleanup, reporting, and optimization within Sage Intacct. This role will support our Finance team by reviewing existing data structures, improving data integrity, and generating accurate reports to support decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hands-on Sage Intacct experience, particularly within Sage Intacct and the Sage Custom Report Writer, who can quickly assess needs and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct data cleanup and validation across Sage to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Evaluate current data architecture and recommend improvements.

Develop, modify, and optimize reports using Sage Custom Report Writer.

Partner with Finance leadership to provide insights, troubleshoot issues, and streamline workflows.

Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and FP&A needs as requested.

Assist in documentation of processes and training materials, if needed.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (The Must-Haves)

Experience with Sage Intacct and Sage Custom Report Writer.

Must be able to work from our DTLA office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with an exception for the winter break period December 24-January 2 which will be 100% remote.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Ability to quickly learn systems and assess data integrity issues.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU’RE A FIT (The Nice-to-Haves)

Sage implementation experience (major plus).

Previous FP&A experience, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis.

Experience supporting finance teams in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations (optional).

COMPENSATION

Hiring Salary Range: $50.00 per hour

DURATION

This is a temporary assignment with the target start date being as soon as possible anticipated to last for approximately two months up to January 31, 2026.
