Titan Wealth Planning (TWP) is a subsidiary of Titan Wealth. Our focus is providing best-in-class advice on wealth management, employee benefits, and retirement planning. Our mission is to help businesses and their employees explore, set, and achieve their financial goals.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join a growing and high-performing team covering Barnsley, Leeds and the wider East & West Yorkshire region. This is a remote-based role, but you will be required to travel to visit clients and other Titan offices where needed.
This opportunity offers the chance to take over an established portfolio, predominantly based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will inherit this book and be responsible for maintaining trusted client relationships while continuing to grow assets under management through proactive business development.
You will be joining a supportive, well-established and geographically dispersed team with a positive, high-performing culture. The business is focused on onboarding new clients, winning new business, and increasing AUM. Advisers are encouraged to actively develop their professional networks, work closely with corporate partners, and deliver the wider Titan proposition through presentations and external engagement.
This role will suit someone who enjoys managing and nurturing an existing client base, but who is equally motivated to proactively win new business and represent Titan in the market.
Responsibilities
A focus on new business development.
Achieving revenue targets set by line management.
Achieve new business targets set by line management.
Work to achieve or exceed annual new business revenue target.
Generate new client enquiries and generate advice income from these.
Proactively drive cross-selling and refer business into other parts of the group.
Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local, regional and national plans.
Establish relationships with other business groups within Titan to achieve reciprocal business.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professional connections (ensuring appropriate agreements are in place) to develop additional business opportunities.
Client Management & Advice Delivery
Provide holistic financial planning solutions to private clients with assets exceeding £250k, across the full suite of financial planning services.
Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling new advice needs where appropriate.
Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance with relevant regulations and Titan policies and values.
Deliver a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate client outcomes, client journey and communication.
Ensure speed of response and turnaround time in accordance with service standards, keeping clients appropriately updated.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processes and regulatory requirements.
Ensure processes are executed in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced by file checks, observations and client feedback.
Maintain ‘Fit and Proper’ status through continuous professional development, suitable development opportunities and maintenance of SPS.
Evidence and maintain knowledge of company policies, processes and guidance.
Perform ad hoc tasks as required, always bearing in mind TCF and the needs of the business.
Skills & Experience Required
Technical & Professional Expertise
Technical competence across all areas of financial planning.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Ensure technical knowledge and general industry knowledge is maintained at all times.
Cash flow modelling experience (preferable but not essential).
Experience
Experience as a Financial Planner (essential).
Experience in a Paraplanning role (preferable but not essential).
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant databases.
Ability to coach and provide feedback.
Qualifications
Essential: Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
Desirable: Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning/Chartered Financial Planner, or willingness to progress towards this.
SPS & CAS holder.
