Overview

We are looking for a Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst to help us operate smarter as we scale. n this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll coordination while building dashboards and insights that support better decision-making. You will work closely with the CEO, managers, bookkeeper, and CPA to ensure strong financial operations and data-driven growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining finance, analytics, and automation to improve how a company operates.

Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Maintain accurate financial records with our bookkeeper
• Prepare key financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Track expenses, loans, licenses, and payroll changes
• Ensure accurate contractor payroll processing
• Coordinate with our CPA for tax filings and compliance
• Calculate bonuses and commissions

Business Intelligence & Strategy

• Define and track key company KPIs
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor company performance
• Analyze financial and operational data to support leadership decisions
• Monitor accounts receivable and collection timelines
• Track project profitability and margins
• Improve resource planning through data analysis

Automation & Process Improvements

• Implement automations using AI tools, APIs, and no-code platforms
• Build internal reporting tools to reduce manual work
• Create ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions

Key KPIs

• Capitalization rate for design and development teams
• Accounts receivable collection rate
• Project profitability margins
• Accuracy of financial forecasts
• Operational efficiency improvements through automation

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance, financial operations, or business intelligence
• Experience supporting small or mid-sized companies, ideally in tech or agency environments
• Experience with financial reporting, payroll coordination, and budgeting

Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience building BI dashboards and data reports
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication in Spanish and English

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with financial software and CRM platforms (Zoho CRM is a plus)
