Position Summary
Pay Range $80,000- $88,000 Per Year
The Financial Analyst performs financial and business-related research and analysis, including preparation of forecasts and evaluation of financial reports, records, and trends. This role develops and maintains monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting tools, spreadsheets, and databases to support operational and strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst is also responsible for conducting, documenting, and presenting financial analysis projects to leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Compile and analyze financial and operational data to support reconciliation and reporting, including enrollment, funding sources, claims payments, and other key performance indicators
• Prepare integrated financial analyses and reports for leadership on a timely and accurate basis, including trend identification and variance analysis
• Conduct financial and business-related analyses, including forecasts, budget comparisons, and trend evaluations
• Collaborate with operations and finance leadership to support standardized monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles
• Coordinate with internal departments, programs, locations, and divisions to gather and validate financial data
• Communicate with internal teams and external agencies as needed to research and resolve discrepancies or issues
• Perform technical financial analysis to assess present and future financial performance
• Gather, analyze, and summarize data to develop recommendations for financial plans, operating forecasts, and future requirements
• Advise management on expected outcomes and recommend strategies to improve financial and operational performance
• Analyze, evaluate, and interpret financial, clinical, and statistical data to support business decisions
• Develop, document, and maintain business and financial policies and procedures
• Conduct special financial and business-related studies and ad hoc analyses
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams in the preparation of financial analyses and reporting
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
• Utilize PC-based systems and software to prepare reports, graphs, and charts for leadership review
• Participate in financial analysis projects, including data collection, analysis, documentation of findings, and report generation
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested
