About the Opportunity
The Finance System Lead is responsible for overseeing the management, implementation, and optimization of finance-related systems and processes. This role will ensure that financial systems align with organizational goals, enhance operational efficiency, and provide accurate financial reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- System Management: Oversee the finance systems, ensuring they are maintained, updated, and aligned with business needs.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of new finance systems and enhancements to existing systems, including planning, testing, and training.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems, conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering, IT, and other departments to implement and enhance the financial report automation.
- User Support: Provide support and training to end-users, addressing any issues and ensuring effective system use.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards for management, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Compliance: Ensure systems adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, implementing necessary controls to mitigate risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance systems management, accounting, or finance roles, with a focus on system implementation and optimization in the e-commerce or fintech industries or big 4 accounting firms (preferred).
- Proficiency in finance software (e.g., ERP systems like Hyperion, Oracle, or other financial management tools for reporting purposes).
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Control and Financial Reporting processes,.
- Proven experience managing financial systems in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent verbal (in English and Mandarin) and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
