Revpanda Group is looking for Finance Specialist to join our international team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, experience working with external auditors, and the ability to manage financial operations across multiple entities within the group. This role requires excellent communication skills in both Latvian and English, as well as familiarity with crypto-related transactions.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with local and international standards, and smooth coordination between our group companies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements in QuickBooks.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, company policies, and Latvian accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes when required.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with company budgeting rules and Latvian legislation; suggest process improvements where needed.
- Prepare and provide documentation for annual audits in Malta and Latvia, and liaise directly with external auditors.
- Communicate with local accountants in Latvia and group-level finance teams in English, ensuring alignment on all accounting and reporting matters.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis when required.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies when needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably within an international or group environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (Latvian – must) and tax regulations (advantage).
- Proven experience in audit preparation and communication with external auditors.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar tolls (1C, Tilde Jumis, or SAP), Microsoft Excel.
- Business profficiency in Latvian and English – required for effective collaboration with local accountants, auditors, and international teams.
- Experience in international companies, preferably within iGaming or fintech.
- Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting (ability to track crypto transactions, identify potential issues with received payments, and know how to investigate or retrieve missing transactions).
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
