Key Responsibilities

    Identify and mitigate risks related to safeguarding processes and ensure robust internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with compliance, treasury, and operations teams to ensure safeguarding processes align with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CFA) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5+ years in finance roles within payments, fintech, or regulated financial institutions.
    • Hands-on experience with safeguarding processes and reconciliations.
    • Familiarity with EMI/API regulatory frameworks in Europe.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
    • Excellent understanding of capital adequacy and regulatory reporting.
    • Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under regulatory deadlines.
