Role Overview
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in budgeting, financial forecasting, and quota management. This role works closely with the Sales team and leadership to ensure that revenue targets, sales quotas, and spending plans align with the company’s financial goals. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has strong experience bridging finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including sales, marketing, and operational expenses.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to set sales quotas based on financial forecasts and historical data.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to guide decision-making for business growth.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and report variances to management.
- Conduct revenue forecasting, cash flow analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Support leadership in strategic planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools for sales and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning & analysis.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, quota setting, and financial modeling.
- Experience working closely with Sales teams and operational departments.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and provide actionable financial insights.
