Finance Manager

TLDR

Lead and develop a team of trainee accountants while producing quality financial reporting and improving existing financial controls and processes.

  • Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager, will be responsible for production of the monthly management accounts
  • Production of quality monthly financial reporting packs, including full P&L and detailed balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with the Radius Group timetable
  • Provide vital support for daily and weekly cashflow forecasting to deliver in a timely and accurate manner
  • Challenge the existing reporting and controls providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Assist with audits, corporate tax returns and statutory submissions
  • Support with the group-wide intercompany reconciliation process
  • Support in business improvement projects, as directed and as identified autonomously
  • Lead and develop a team of trainee accountants to deliver high quality performance
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience of working in a Finance related role
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Technical accounting skills
  • Experience of Sage or similar accounting system would be desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills – including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up
  • Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
