Finance Manager

Your mission

• Drive, shape and continuously improve the financial, accounting and controlling activities of our Dutch legal entity.
• Take full ownership of statutory accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Responsible for all areas of financial bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA), ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controlling processes, including budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis and cost controlling.
• Prepare timely and high-quality management reporting for local management and group headquarters, ensuring transparency of financial performance.
• Handle tax-related topics such as tax filings, VAT compliance, Intrastat reporting and cross-border VAT matters.
• Act as the main point of contact for external partners, including auditors, banks, tax advisors and tax authorities.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses, provide decision support and prepare presentations for management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support the further development of financial processes, internal controls and reporting standards in line with group requirements.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of solid experience in finance, accounting and controlling within an international B2B environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and relevant tax regulations, including VAT and Intrastat.
• Hands-on and proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership, solve complex problems and drive topics independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different countries and cultures.
• High affinity for IT and digital finance tools, with advanced MS Excel skills and experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Native Chinese speaker with full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Dutch.
