About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Finance Manager to join a creative and fast-paced entertainment studio. This role will support financial planning and analysis across multiple business units, helping drive strategic decisions within a rapidly evolving media environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, collaborative setting and is passionate about using financial insights to support world-class content development and production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for assigned divisions
Partner with studio leadership to provide financial reporting, variance analysis, and operational insights
Develop financial models to support slate planning, content performance analytics, new business initiatives, and scenario analysis
Monitor project-level spending and support production finance in aligning actuals with plan
Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing financial performance and key risks/opportunities
Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and approvals
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Production, Operations, Business Affairs, and FP&A leadership
Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and data accuracy to drive efficiency and transparency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required
5+ years of experience in FP&A, studio finance, entertainment accounting, or media industry finance
Strong financial modeling capabilities (Excel/Google Sheets) and proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools
Understanding of entertainment industry deal structures, production economics, and content lifecycle preferred
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, organization, and deadline management skills
