Your New Role

As the Finance Manager at Mister Sparky of San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), you’ll lead all outgoing financial operations. From vendor payments and sales tax reports to payroll invoice posting and monthly financial statements, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the company’s fiscal health and momentum.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable including invoice entry, scheduling payments, and vendor coordination

• Monitor bank balances and maintain updated check registers

• Prepare and remit Sales Tax reports

• Process payroll wire transfers and reconcile payroll invoices

• Finalize monthly Profit and Loss statements

• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy and continuity

• Maintain financial documentation and systems

• Support internal financial reporting and occasional bank runs

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with internal staff and external vendors

• Detail-oriented, with solid time management and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage confidential financial information with professionalism

• Adaptable, self-driven, and able to work effectively with various software tools

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles

• Understanding of basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles

• Experience with Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace

• Leadership and mentoring capabilities within a finance or accounting setting

• Familiarity with the electrical or trade industry is a plus
