1. Financial Management & Reporting 

  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements for all subsidiaries. 
  • Perform variance analysis on revenue, costs, manpower, and operations. 
  • Ensure compliance with SFRS(I)/IFRS, audits, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Assist in budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting. 

2. Monthly Closing & Treasury 

  • Ensure timely month-end closing, accurate journals, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. 
  • Manage cash flow and working capital planning 
  • Oversee credit control, invoicing, and ageing reports to minimise bad debts. 

3. Leadership & Compliance 

  • Lead finance team across group entities in South-East Asia. 
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional finance team, ensuring high performance, strong accountability, and professional growth. 
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax compliance, GST submissions, ACRA filings for SG entities.  
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries for audits, filings, and regulatory matters. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across entities 

4. Other Miscellaneous Duties 

  • Provide ongoing support on strategic and operational initiatives. 
  • Undertake special projects or assignments as required. 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent). 
  • Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting roles, including 1+ years managing a team. 
  • Professional certifications such as CPA/CA/ACCA are highly desirable. 
  • Strong understanding of SFRS(I)/IFRS, consolidation, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Knowledge of Malaysian-equivalent is a strong plus. 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Xero. Knowledge and experience in ApprovalMax, Aspire, and HubSpot is a plus. 
  • Experienced in internal controls, process improvement, and risk management. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities. 
  • High integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines, especially in a start-up environment.
