Finance Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Finance Lead to oversee our accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team while contributing to the company’s financial excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

·         Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes

·         Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements

·         Maintain internal control systems and procedures

·         Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities

·         Prepare reports and financial analysis for decision-making

·         Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes

·         Ensure the compliance with Zakat, VAT & TAX

·         Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

·         Assist Finance Director with special projects and strategic initiatives

 Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in similar finance/accounting leadership roles

·         Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards

·         Proven experience in team management and staff development

·         Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills and power query.

·         Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

·         Must Hold Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

·         Must Hold Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must

Preferred Qualifications

·         Professional certification (CMA, FMVA, ACCA, or equivalent) is plus.

·         Experience in similar industry

·         Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools
