We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in various aspects of corporate finance, contribute to real-world projects, and develop essential financial skills within a professional setting. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team and our Financial Controller Area Sicily, supporting daily operations and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Main Duties:

• Assist with financial data entry, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Contribute to financial modeling and forecasting projects.
• Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Support internal and external audit preparations.
• Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the finance team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn;
