Finance Intern- Internship (m/f/x) - Berlin April 2026

Cherry Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm led by a team of entrepreneurs with experience building fast-scaling companies such as Zalando, Spotify and Uber.

The firm backs Europe's boldest founders, usually as their first institutional investor, and supports them in everything from their go-to-market strategy and the scaling of their businesses. Cherry Ventures has previously invested in the seed stage of over 50 companies across Europe, including Flix, Auto1, Amboss, Forto, Numa, Moss and Tacto. Cherry Ventures is based in Berlin and invests across Europe with operations in London, and Stockholm.

We are looking for an additional team member (m/f/x) to join our Finance & Investor Relations Team as  Finance Intern starting April 2026 for a period of 3 months. 

For this role: You would need to either have an EU passport or an existing permit to work in Germany as we are unfortunately not able to sponsor visas

Requirements

As part of the Finance & Investor Relations Team, you will: 

• Work closely together with a dynamic team with operational and investment banking backgrounds
• Assist in the preparation of strategy and marketing materials for investors
• Assist with various investor relations activities including preparation of investor calls and quarterly reporting
• Be involved in fund finance activities including liaising with fund administrators, lawyers and banks
• Contribute to building a world-class early-stage venture capital fund by taking on additional responsibilities

Key requirements include:

• Prior experience in a start-up, VC/PE fund, consulting, or banking
• Strong analytical background, extremely well-versed in working with quantitative data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational skills
• Enrolled or concluded a Master Degree at a top tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics
• Obtained your Bachelor degree at a top tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar fields or have prior experience in the sector
• Basic understanding of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows
• You have an international and multicultural mindset/background
• English working proficiency
