General Description:
HRL is seeking an Accounting Intern who will play an important role within the accounting organization. The intern will work closely with other functional leaders and managers to support improved growth and profitability using strong analytical and business partnering skills.
Essential Duties:
•Participate in the month end close process, preparing journal entries related to inventory, sales, cost of sales and operating adjustments, reconciliations and month end financial statements.
•Provide support to accounting leadership for reports and analysis in support of Division, Group and Corporate reviews, audits, and ad hoc requirements.
•Partner with organizations to analyze and report operational and financial performance.
Required Skills:
•Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week during Summer 2023.
•Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team.
Required Education:
•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22 - $35 per hour.
