Finance Intern

We’re looking for a Finance Intern who’s curious, detail-oriented, and ready to dive into the financial backbone of a leading creative agency. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our Finance & Controlling Team with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and insight in everything we do.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about learning how creative business meets financial precision — balancing analytical skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Requirements

• Support Daily Accounting: Assist with bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review Invoices: Process incoming invoices and credit card invoices, ensuring they meet all invoice criteria and are internally reviewed and approved.
• Manage pre-paid Credit Cards: Oversee pre-paid credit card transactions, assign receipts to the correct expenses and follow-up on missing receipts. 
• Code and Upload Expenses: Assign account codes to pre-paid credit card and cash expenses, and upload all transactions to the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with project managers and operations to align financial data with project activities.
• Maintain Compliance: Support audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards and LOOP’s financial policies.
• Communicate Clearly: Demonstrate fluency in German and English, ensuring seamless communication across international teams and partners
• Learn and Grow: Stay curious about financial systems, digital tools, and creative industry dynamics to develop real-world accounting expertise.
• Commit Long-Term: Be available for a minimum internship duration of 6–12 months, allowing time to gain deep experience and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects.

At LOOP, we believe great work deserves fair pay — and that transparency builds trust. The gross annual salary for this internship (full-time, based in Austria) is EUR 28,000. This amount is set within our internal compensation framework to keep things fair and consistent for all our interns.
