About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting for our India operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial statutory obligations, alongside practical experience in managing invoicing, budgeting, and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax.
- Handle tax computations, payments, and compliance with Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and other applicable Indian financial regulations.
- Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors during periodic audits and inspections.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, statutory obligations, and accounting standards applicable in India.
Invoicing & Receivables Management
- Generate and manage client invoices in compliance with GST norms.
- Follow up on collections and ensure accurate tracking of receivables.
- Maintain documentation for invoicing, purchase orders, vendor agreements, and related records.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning in alignment with organizational goals.
- Track and report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform cost analysis, cash flow management, and profitability reviews.
Payroll & Employee Benefit Compliance
- Support monthly payroll processing in coordination with HR and ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, and Labour Welfare Fund.
- Ensure accurate calculation and deposit of applicable statutory deductions.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage banking operations including payments, deposits, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Audit & Documentation
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Maintain organized and updated documentation for all financial transactions, statutory filings, and compliance records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

4-7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience in Indian statutory and tax compliance environment.
- Solid knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax), statutory filings, and audit processes.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
Preferred Attributes:
- Exposure to financial processes for mid-sized IT/Services companies.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments.
- Up-to-date knowledge of changes in statutory and taxation norms.
