Your mission
We are now strengthening our Finance & Business Operations team and are looking for a Finance & Data Analytics Intern to support our financial reporting, data analysis, and automation initiatives. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience working with financial data, business intelligence tools, and real operational datasets in a fast-growing international tech company.
This is an on-site position based in Tomar. Candidates must also be registered in Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, I.P. (IEFP) to be eligible for this internship program. You will collaborate closely with the Finance team and business stakeholders, supporting daily operations, contributing to dashboards and reporting, and learning how data-driven decision-making supports a global SaaS organization.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the collection, processing, and validation of financial and operational data.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports used to monitor key performance indicators.
- Assist with data modeling and data integration activities using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Contribute to the automation of recurring financial processes and continuous improvement of workflows.
- Support the preparation of reports, analyses, and ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on daily tasks and specific projects, participating in meetings and analytical discussions.
- Help document processes, data flows, and reporting logic to improve knowledge sharing and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal data standards.
- Learn and apply best practices in business intelligence, analytics, and financial reporting.
Your profile
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Power BI; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data quality.
- Ability to work in a structured way, follow processes, and manage multiple tasks with guidance.
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with numbers, datasets, and digital tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data modeling, reporting, or financial analysis through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, KPIs, or business reporting.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI Service, or other analytics tools.
- Interest in automation, process improvement, or digital transformation.

This internship is intended for young unemployed candidates aged 35 or under who hold a Level 6 qualification under the Quadro Nacional de Qualificações (QNQ). Active IEFP registration is required for eligibility.
