We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join Norgine in Italy.

The person holding this position will report to the Head of Rx Finance Business Partnering and be a member of the Finance team.

The core responsibility of the Finance Business Partner is to support both sales and operational finance expenses and be responsible for total P&L’s for Italy multiple brands within the Norgine group. This person will be providing and driving exceptional effective financial planning, management reporting and financial business partnering services and supporting, whilst challenging, both Leadership and Direct Reports in interpretation of insight, decision making, driving business performance and ensuring high quality financial decisions are undertaken. This role will also be supporting Operational Accounting on month end, audit and other ad-hoc business request whilst driving the delivery of financial targets and holding departments to account for budget targets.

This will be a permanent role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

·       Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all  cross functional teams including but not limited to General Managers and allocated Executive member.

·       Facilitate and drive monthly, quarterly and 5yr plan consolidated reviews within allocated timescales.

·       Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance across the teams assigned to this role

·       Utilizing the GBS support, provide analytical analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports and KPI’s to business strategies, supporting the Exec objectives.

·       Provide effective Commercial support, or initiating change, to ensure key operational , commercial and financial targets are delivered

·       Support the integration of the GBS into BAU.

·       Lead on financial input deadlines across all allocated Finance business areas for allocated markets, including stock provisions quarterly

·       Support new business and CI initiatives including the implementation of a new Reporting and Planning tool from a SME perspective.

·       Supporting local revenue tax calculations if and when required.

·       Liaising with local Stock Controllers if required, supporting the calculations and insight of short dated stock accruals with global business services.

·       Support and analyze financial business cases input and ad hoc requests

Requirements

·     Finance qualified and practiced in a multinational environment understanding rules of both Financial and Management accounts.

·    Local to working in the Milan office.

·    Advanced presentation, numerical, reporting and planning skills

·    Strong analytical skills working with financial IT systems such as; E1, PLANFUL, BI, TM1 Excel etc.

·     Exceptional verbal, written and communication/presentation skills (in English)

·     Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, working in a cross functional organisation matrix

·    Ability to think "outside the box". Ability to influence and proactively challenge.

·    Knowledge of a Pharmaceutical commercial environment from both a sales and operations aspect is highly desirable
