About the role

As a Finance Business Partner at Everfield you will be a key part of the Financial Reporting and Analysis team. Working together with your operations counterpart (Strategic Business Partner or SBP), you will hold the portfolio businesses in your region (Nordics -Primarily Demark) accountable for their performance against a set of defined financial KPIs and operating metrics.

Your role will be key to achieving the Everfield strategy of driving profitable top-line growth in the portfolio businesses. In the first 6 to 12 months of your role, you will use your perspective as Finance business Partner for the Nordic portfolio companies to help shape and influence the set-up of the financial and operating data sets and systems for the group. This will include supporting the ERP set-up and integrations, implementation and analysis of management reporting, as well as analytics and dashboarding requirements.

What you will do

• Preparing and delivering the monthly reporting packs (including management P&L, financial KPIs and key operating metrics) for each portfolio business in your region.

• Prepare the Quarterly Update Reviews (QURs) packs to be presented and discussed with the Everfield CEO, CFO and COO.

• Plan, align and deliver final annual budgets for each portfolio business incorporating; long term expectations and strategic initiatives.

• Manage a rolling forecast for each portfolio business for the full financial year incorporating modelled strategic initiatives

• Lead, together with the SBPs, the day-to-day relationships with the portfolio businesses in your region.

• Play an active role in integration activities for some of the newly acquired businesses, including assessing system and data requirements and helping to design reporting solutions, together with the Integration Director and the Head of BI.

• Support in weekly sales pipeline reporting and reviews.

What we are looking for

  • Fluent in English and Danish. (Other Nordic languages are a plus)

  • The position requires a self-starting personality that fits into an environment that is characterised by entrepreneurship.

  • You have the ability to manage many stakeholders across multiple, distinct different businesses in varying stages of maturity.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ideal candidate has a completed university education, supplemented with a further professional finance qualification (CA/ACA/CIMA/CA(SA)).

  • Ideally Big 4 trained

  • At least 4 years’ experience within an international or complex environment and the right drive and ambition to make a difference.

  • Experience working with and scaling small high-growth VC/PE-backed businesses.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Business Controlling / FP&A / Finance Business Partner role.

  • Strong communication skills in an international, multi-language setting

  • Able to communicate at all levels of an organisation.

  • Ideally a background working in fast growing Technology and / or SaaS companies

  • Able to travel occasionally as required
