Why this role matters:

The Finance Business Partner is a key role, directly supporting the Corporate and Operations functions by collaborating closely with three members of ICEYE's executive team: the Chief Financial Officer, SVP Operations, and General Counsel, as well as their respective senior leadership teams.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role is responsible for ownership of Corporate and Operations forecasting, financial reporting, and long-range planning. A core aspect of the position is applying forward-looking financial judgment to directly influence scaling and investment decisions and supporting critical corporate projects.

ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy – day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.

Requirements

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a trusted financial partner to the CFO, SVP Operations, GC and leadership teams, actively shaping supporting function strategy, investment trade-offs, and scale decisions.
  • Own Corporate and Operations’ forecasting and financial reporting with a clear focus on forward-looking insight—surfacing cost, yield, timing, and capital risks early and enabling leadership to act decisively.
  • Develop robust business and investment cases to enable informed decisions on IT and overhead decisions.
  • Own company wide headcount planning consolidation to enable HR, Facilities and Talent teams to rightsize for future activity volumes.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across Corporate, Operations, Finance, and other teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Contribute to the broader Finance organization in reporting, planning, and forecasting, including participation in long-term strategic planning.
  • Partner with Corporate Controlling to ensure accurate accounting treatment and smooth financial processes.

What we're looking for

Must haves:

  1. Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 7–12 years of proven experience in financial planning, business partnering, or strategic finance roles.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  4. A proactive self-starter with a hands-on mindset and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, analyze data, and communicate insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
  6. Strong business acumen with the ability to operate credibly in technical and operational discussions, challenge assumptions, and translate complexity into clear financial trade-offs for senior decision-makers.
  7. Experience in the technology sector or in large-scale technology organizations is considered a strong advantage.
  8. Fluency in English.
  9. Role based in Espoo, Finland.

Base salary range for this position is contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
