NB: This is a contract-based position. We are a fully remote company and welcome applicants from anywhere in the world—please disregard the listed countries, which are included only due to system requirements.

Requirements

Your role and responsibilities:

• Taking over Employee Payroll
• Communicating with External and internal HR related to the Payroll and contractors topic
• Reviewing, approving and processing all AP invoices (including but not limited to SaaS and Contractors).
• Responsible for handling finance email inboxes (first PoC)
• Managing finance documentation & controlling processes, related to AP.
• Experience with Datev & HGB would be beneficial, but not mandatory. In case of experience with Datev, then 
• Experience with processing a massive amount of data and interfaces to Datev
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS
•  If you have proper work experience with Datev & HGB, you will be given precedence 

Your profile:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting, or equivalent as Buchhalter (bilanzbuchhalter)
• Full proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools
• Understanding of tech fundamentals tools, such as Datev, GetMoss, Workable, with Zoho, Stripe & Adyen would be beneficial but not mandatory. 
• Strong organisational and time management skills;
• Exceptional attention to detail;
• High level of accuracy;
• Fluent in both German and English, B2 at least in both languages. 

Optional qualifications:

• Experience with the WhatsApp Business API ecosystem
• Additional languages like Portuguese
• 2 -3  years of experience, preferably in a SaaS company, in the field of Finance, Accounting, Payroll or related;

Budget

This role is available on both part-time (20h/week - 4h/day) and full-time, depending on the availability budget is as follows:

1. Part-time - 20h/week with 4h/day - 30h/week with 5-6h/day - 24.000,00 EUR/Year to 32.400,00 EUR/Year
2. Full-time - 40h/week (only if you are experienced in Datev & HGB) - 36.000,00 EUR/year to 42.000,00 EUR/Year
3. Werkstudent - Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - 20h/week - 16 EUR/hour
