About Trócaire
Trócaire is an International NGO. We work with local partners in the world’s most at-risk communities and with people in Ireland to tackle the underlying causes of poverty and injustice and respond to the crises they create. Together we bring about positive and lasting change for a just world. Trócaire works in up to 20 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. We work towards five goals:
Our work is rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and in our values of Solidarity, Courage, Participation, Perseverance and Accountability.
Since 2011, Trócaire has responded to the protracted humanitarian crisis in the South Kordofan, Sudan through the national/local organisations. This has been achieved through a hybrid arrangement of remote support from Nairobi, Kenya and on the ground presence. Trócaire works with five national partners. Our programme focuses on the provision of humanitarian assistance in the current context of the displacement crisis, delivering integrated health and nutrition services to remote communities and in strengthening food security, livelihoods and resilience. The programme is also responding to a rising health need in neighbouring Blue Nile State.
The Finance and Administration Manager plays a pivotal role within the Country Management Team, providing high-level strategic financial oversight and proactive support across the full breadth of the country programme's finance and administration. The role is responsible for ensuring effective oversight, coordination and support to country programme leadership in the areas of finance, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and administration of policies and procedures, enabling smooth operations and informed decision-making.
