Responsibilities:
Manage GL accounting
Prepare the schedule of prepaid expenses, Capitalization of assets, maintaining
Fixed Asset register, and monthly amortization.
Prepare monthly closing entries
Prepare OPEX analysis and ensure accruals are accounted for with proper documentation
Prepare accounting reports and statements by Segment, Regional Business Unit, Legal Entities
Provide technical accounting advice to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities
Reconcile accounting records with the independent administrator
Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation
Assist with special projects as needed which may include new accounting standards, system implementations/enhancements, benefit plan financial statements and financial analyses
Prepare all required tax reporting and compliance forms
Prepare annual reports and tax reports for various states
Requirements:
A Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or other relevant fields
3-5 years of experience within the field
Strong proficiency and knowledge of Accounting, Tax, and Compliance.
A Finance Graduate with relevant years of experience or CA/CA-inter is a strong plus.
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and other Finance software
