Finance Analyst (Hybrid Guadalajara MX)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented finance professional to support our growing financial operations and reporting needs. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing financial data; preparing periodic reporting; and identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial insights into meaningful business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Processing

• Collect, enter, and validate financial data from multiple sources, including accounting systems, spreadsheets, and internal databases.

• Conduct routine audits and validation checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

• Prepare, review, and reconcile end-of-month financial statements.

• Verify customer and vendor billing to ensure correctness and alignment with internal records.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports, including profit and loss statements and customized dashboards.

• Perform variance and trend analyses to identify anomalies, financial risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Process Improvement

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions within the finance function.

• Apply financial operations best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across reporting workflows.

Collaboration & Communication

• Present financial findings and insights clearly and effectively to management and key stakeholders.

• Ensure financial strategies and reporting support organizational objectives through strong collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong technical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for working with financial data.
• Strong communicator who can effectively translate financial insights.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
