The Field Training Consultant partners with franchisees and operations leaders to identify learning opportunities and deliver scalable training solutions that drive business results. This role leverages store performance data to consult with franchisees and hold them accountable for training outcomes. The consultant primarily facilitates virtual learning experiences—supported by data-driven insights—to ensure managers and teams gain the skills needed for success and to scale training across the system. Occasional in-person facilitation may be required. Using adult learning principles and adapting to diverse learning styles, the consultant ensures participants achieve measurable outcomes that impact profitability and growth.

Principal Accountabilities:

Lead Scalable Training Initiatives

  • Serve as the primary facilitator for system-wide training programs designed to build capability and bench strength. Guide participants through diagnostic assessments, personalized learning plans, virtual coaching, and proficiency evaluations to ensure readiness for operational excellence.

Consulting & Accountability

  • Use store performance data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to assess training effectiveness and consult with franchisees and managers on improvement opportunities. Hold stakeholders accountable for implementing training solutions that deliver measurable business results.

Virtual Facilitation & Delivery

  • Deliver engaging virtual learning experiences that incorporate adult learning principles and accommodate diverse learning styles. Facilitate webinars, coaching sessions, and virtual assessments to ensure participants achieve learning objectives.

Content Adaptation & Feedback

  • Review and make moderate updates to learning materials based on participant feedback, operational changes, and evolving business needs. Collaborate with content owners to ensure materials remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with company standards.

Evaluation & Reporting

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using data-driven methods. Document participant progress, maintain accurate training records, and provide timely follow-up to questions. Share insights with leadership to demonstrate the impact of training on business results.

The US national base salary range for this position is $80,088-$96,106.  The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.

 

Education & Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3 – 5 years of in restaurant operations and/or professional training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of quick-service restaurant operations; management or franchisee experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence in virtual facilitation and ability to deliver engaging online learning experiences.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to consult with franchisees and managers, familiarity with Power BI for reporting and insights.
  • Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate to a variety of audiences. Comfortable and skilled at large group presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with online learning platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel occasionally for in-person training and consulting (less than 20% of time)
  • Ability to work in a restaurant environment.

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 3 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.
