Objective:
This position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repairs of diesel and electric air compressors, air dryers, and associated systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs all first-time (start-up) installations to ensure compatibility with all other equipment to be installed
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems to ensure the entire compressed air system runs safely and efficiently
- Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation, including service reports and time keeping
- Monitors and complies with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location
- Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, safe operating condition
- Maintains daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the Company, Customers, Suppliers, and Caterpillar
Occasional/Other Responsibilities:
- Assists with performing services on other industry related systems such as generators, and distribution. (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and others)
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License
Preferred
- 5 years or more of experience in related field
- Atlas Copco and Sullair experience preferred
- CDL or Chauffer’s License
