What You’ll Do as a Field Automation Engineer at Arteris
Join our Field Applications Engineering organization and help transform how technical, customer, and project data is collected, automated, and presented across the company. In this role, you will build Python-driven automation, data pipelines, and reporting solutions that connect systems such as Jira, CRM, license management, and internal AI engines, turning complex data into clear, executive-ready insights while working closely with Field Applications Engineering and Sales teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve visibility into customer projects, usage, and trends across Arteris’ SoC and chiplet products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Python-based automation to ingest, process, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Prepare, extract, and structure data for/from internal AI engines
- Process data to and from license management systems for tracking usage, status, and trends
- Extract and transform data from Jira (tickets, projects, status, trends) using APIs
- Integrate and synchronize data with CRM systems to support customer tracking, reporting, and automation
- Create and maintain databases (including NoSQL or lightweight data stores) to support reporting and automation
- Build automated reports and dashboards that present data clearly for executives, Sales, and Field Applications Engineering
- Develop workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline data movement and internal processes
- Create visualizations and dashboards using Power BI
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability for fast decision-making
- Work closely with Sales and Field Applications Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver practical tools
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (new college grad)
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and API integration
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software fundamentals
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams
- Internship, project, or research experience involving automation or data pipelines
Bonus Points If You Have
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, or Power Apps
- Experience integrating with CRM systems
- Familiarity with Jira APIs or project tracking systems
- Knowledge of Arteris Products, and how they are used in the Industry
Education Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (recent graduate)
Estimated Base Salary
$110,000 to $150,000 annually.
