Join Renesas as a Summer Intern and become part of a global engineering team driving innovation in automotive semiconductor technologies. You will assist our Field Applications Engineering team in supporting customer design activities and troubleshooting technical issues for next-generation automotive applications. This internship offers exposure to advanced technologies such as ADAS and AI/ML, providing a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in real-world scenarios.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with customer design-in activities for Renesas microcontroller and SoC products.

· Support technical issue resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.

· Participate in circuit reviews and embedded software debugging.

· Collaborate with global engineering teams on product analysis, benchmarking, and troubleshooting.

· Learn and apply your academic knowledge in automotive and semiconductor applications.

 

· Passion for automotive technologies and a willingness to learn and apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

· Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s or enrolled in a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering or related field. Must not have graduated before September 2026

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and embedded programming.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Linux/RTOS and debugging on microcontrollers.

· Hands-on project or research experience in automotive systems.

· Familiarity with ADAS concepts and AI/ML technologies.
