Fiber Trenching & Site Work Assistant (Full-Time)

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a Full-Time Fiber Trenching & Site Work Assistant role. This position supports fiber optic infrastructure projects through trenching, site preparation, and general field operations, while offering paid training, certification, and long-term career opportunities in a growing industry.
Training & Certification
- Opportunities throughout the state of Texas
- Paid, structured training provided
- Seven (7) weeks of virtual instruction, followed by one (1) week of in-person practical training
- Certification issued after successful completion of the training program
- Training begins at the end of April 2026
- Interviews will be conducted remotely
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with trenching, excavation, and site preparation for fiber optic installations
- Support conduit placement, backfilling, and site restoration activities
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Follow construction, utility, and safety guidelines
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of one (1) year of fiber trenching & site work experience
- Personal computer with reliable internet access for virtual training
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to agree to a background check
- Willingness to agree to a drug test
- Ability to attend and complete all required training sessions
- Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical labor
