Fiber Optic Electrical Assistant (Full-Time)

We are currently hiring dependable and technically capable candidates for a Full-Time Fiber Optic Electrical Assistant role. This position supports fiber optic and electrical installation projects and is ideal for individuals with prior electrical experience who want to expand their skills within the telecommunications and infrastructure field.
Training Program & Schedule
- Paid, instructor-led training provided
- Six (6) weeks of online instruction, followed by one (1) week of in-person, hands-on training
- Certificate issued upon successful completion of the training program
- Training begins February 16th
- Interviews will be conducted late January through early February
Role Summary
- Assist technicians with fiber optic and electrical system installations and upgrades
- Support cable routing, securing, and termination activities
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under guidance
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and job sites
- Follow electrical codes, fiber optic standards, and safety requirements
- Communicate job progress and issues to supervisors and team members
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Access to a personal computer and reliable internet for virtual training
- Valid United States driver’s license
- Authorization to work legally in the United States
- Willingness to complete a background screening
- Willingness to complete a drug test
- Availability to attend and complete all scheduled training sessions
- Ability to work in outdoor, field-based environments
