What to expect on your journey with us:
Objective:
Responsible for the implementation, negotiation and monitoring of asset programs. Will prepare reports and perform analysis for research to proactively identify savings and improvements. Provides consulting advice to Architecture and Project teams to optimize software and hardware solutions. May also review and update current policies. Implementing training and development programs may also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
•Accountable for maintaining a Software License Repository and asset register that is accurate, effectively controlled and updated to ensure efficient and effective management of the estate as well as to support all other service management functions.
•Proactively manage the software license pool to ensure Zurich is not exposed to under-licensing of applications and optimizing the cost of over-licensing.
•Uses the proper processes and practices for managing and administering a variety of contractual agreements, such as contract renewals.
•Accountable for supporting internal and vendor license audits and managing the plan to address findings.
•Oversees delivery of hardware and asset management services from outsourcing provider. Analyzes complex software licensing and deployment data for data center software to determine license compliance.
