FanDuel is looking for an MBA Intern to join the Corporate Strategy team. Corporate Strategy serves as a partner and advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and works on critical strategic initiatives and opportunities facing the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team with significant exposure across the FanDuel Group business, as well as to the broader global company (Flutter Entertainment). The role is a mix of defining strategic opportunities and delivering the most important projects within the company, so it would be an excellent fit for someone looking for a hands-on, hybrid strategy and execution role.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
Partner with Corporate Strategy Leadership and the FanDuel Executive Leadership Team to identify and solve the top challenges currently facing the business
Lead analysis & recommendations on new initiatives, and serve as a business owner and project manager to drive these initiatives forward from ideation to launch
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Commercial) to deliver the most critical projects across the organization (e.g., launching in new states, bringing new products to market)
Liaise with teams in the U.K., Australia, and beyond to identify opportunities to leverage best practices and drive operational efficiencies across the global group
Example projects could include:
Assisting the FanDuel Executive Leadership Team and functional teams in identifying areas of growth and developing execution plans
Coordinating the launch of major strategic programs in partnership with operational business leaders
Supporting programs to extend the value of FanDuel’s assets, leverage our scale advantage, and build sustainable business drivers
Developing perspectives on opportunities for innovation
Analyzing market data and competitive intelligence to prioritize transformative business opportunities
Optimizing internal ways of working & tools to drive growth and profitability
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
Required Qualifications:
Must be planning for MBA degree completion between August 2026 –June 2027
Must have U.S. Work Authorization and does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
Must be in commutable distance from or willing to relocate to NYC office
Must be willing to be in office 3+ times per week
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years in strategy consulting, internal strategy, or business/corporate development
Experience working for a sports, media, or tech company
Strong knowledge of business and financial concepts
Experience independently conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, including creating complex Excel models and leading market research
Problem-solving skills, hypothesis driven with the ability to independently evaluate opportunities, conduct analysis, and make innovative strategic recommendations
Strong organizational & project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Other:
Excellent communication skills; skilled at influencing and building relationships across the organization at all levels, including with senior leadership
Entrepreneurial, proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value
Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making
Team player with the desire to bring a positive attitude to a group dynamic
Passion for consumer technology, sports & entertainment, or the gaming industry preferred
