The Opportunity
We are seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our brand-new outpatient family medicine clinic opening this Fall in Christiansburg, VA. This role serves a dedicated patient population of employed adults and retirees.
Schedule
Monday – Wednesday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (24 hours total)
No evenings, no weekends, and no call

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive history and physical exams for acute, chronic, and complex conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment plans
Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure patient well-being
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make referrals as needed
Support patients and families with education, guidance, and compassionate care

Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current unrestricted Virginia NP license (Autonomous Practice & Prescriptive Authority preferred)
Current NP Certification in your specialty area
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills
Empathy, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment
