The Facility Representative II will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of operations, which includes conducting oversight activity reports, initiating and managing issues through the Issue Collection and Evaluation (ICE) system, and performing surveillance reports. This individual will ensure that the Transuranic (TRU) waste handling, processing, and disposal operations at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) are conducted safely and in compliance with all regulations and operational requirements, such as the Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) and Technical Safety Requirements (TSR).

As requested by the Facility Oversight Division to include: Oversight Activity Reports, ICE or Devonway Issue Reports, Surveillance/Assessment Reports, and Provide facility operations oversight of WIPP systems and programs to ensure that TRU waste handling, processing, and disposal is conducted safely and compliantly.

Requirements

Requires: Bachelor of Science degree in physical science, engineering, or technical discipline, or a related field (as approved by the Contracting Officer) and 15 years of experience in nuclear facility operations/maintenance and conduct of operations oversight OR 20 years of demonstrated knowledge and specialized nuclear facility operations/maintenance and conduct of operations.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
