Facilities Technician (M-F 8A-4:30P)
TLDR
Maintain a safe and reliable facility by troubleshooting equipment, monitoring access points, and responding to emergencies while contributing to semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Monday-Friday 8A-4:30P
Responsibilities
- Monitors conditions of perimeter of building.
- Verifies all emergency doors are secured and have not been breached
- Assists with security measures in main lobby.
- Compiles data based on security check point records and generates reports for customers.
- Performs preventive maintenance, as assigned
- Escort vendors while onsite.
- Ensures the efficient and prompt handling of all department work orders and requests.
- Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Handles chemicals used for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
- Provides prompt response to emergency situations.
- Assists as required in cooperation with all personnel in the performance of general day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
- Ensures availability while on call to respond to emergency situations pertaining to the System failure, water leaks, etc.
- Movies equipment/materials during maintenance/vendor support of up to 50 lbs.
- 1+ years of experience in a facilities technician or security position.
- Continuing education or vocational training is preferred. Formal technical apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- Ability to Train in CPR and/or First-Aid.
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of handling chemicals and the ability to understand SDS.
- Experience with computer-based software and building control systems is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate reports.
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors.
- Ability to comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8-hour shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to frequently use hands for the repetitive actions of simple and firm grasping.
- Starting pay depends on qualifications:
Facilities Technician I - $23.41 to $29.30 per hour
Facilities Technician II - $25.49 to $33.10 per hour
- Shift differentials are paid at the rate of 10% for hours worked between 5:30PM and 12:00AM and at 15% for hours worked between 12:00AM and 5:30AM
- Target Cash Bonus with potential payout of up to 2% of earned wages
