Facilities Technician

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company's building and fix minor defects
• Supervise and escort specialists and sub-contractors working on plant and facility technical systems
• Monitor and maintain lighting in all assigned facilities as needed
• Perform minor plumbing repairs as necessary
• Perform basic electrical work and determine when an electrician is required
• Perform basic cosmetic repairs, such as plastering works
• Repair building’s hardware equipment, such as doors, windows etc
• Dismantle, install and repair furniture when required
• Transport goods or equipment as assigned
• Provide or organize out of office hours support to the building systems according company`s SLAs
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facility Supervisor

• Execution of job duties requires secondary (higher, special etc.) education
• Execution of job duties requires good knowledge of English and preferable Maltese
• Be computer literate and knowledge in MS office software
• At least 2 years’ experience in building systems maintenance and troubleshooting
• High sense of responsibility
• The ability to work on his own initiative and within a team
