Position Summary:

The Facilities Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and environmental systems.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety protocols, and industry standards (LOTO, OSHA, NEC).
  • Document maintenance activities in the Work Order system and equipment logbooks.
  • Provide on-call support for facility issues outside of regular hours.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or technical degree/certification in Facilities Maintenance or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on utility equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience with maintenance software systems (e.g., Work Order management).
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE safely.
  • Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Systems.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or manufacturing.
