About This Team and Role

Verra Mobility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Leader to oversee the maintenance, security, and safety of multiple facilities and manage services such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and custodial for our Commercial Services business based in Mesa, AZ. The Facility Manager also handles budgeting, vendor management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is crucial to achieving our company's profitability and growth objectives while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement aligned with Verra Mobility's values.

What You’ll Do

Leadership and Strategy:

    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment at all facilities.

Safety and Compliance:

    • Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all facilities activities align with company safety standards and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

Asset Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance of all facilities and systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Coordinate and supervise building repairs, renovations, and improvements.
    • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs.

Continuous Improvement:

    • Leverage process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency gains, reduce conversion costs, and enhance overall performance year over year.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Budget and Resource Management:

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive organizational culture change.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, mechanical, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adept in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
