Let's start with the role

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all building-related activities and procurement initiatives for existing and new offices under their supervision. The primary objective is to ensure that our premises are well-maintained, safe, and aligned with the organization's standards and operational needs.

 

As a Facilities Engineer, you will: 
  • Participate in refurbishments, renovations, expansions, and office relocations across multiple countries, ensuring  smooth execution and adherence to plans;
  • Handle internal customers’ requests;
  • Oversee and monitor contracts of services including construction, maintenance, parking, cleaning and furnishing in terms of technical, timely and cost-effective completion;
  • Coordinate and monitor operations including maintenance, cleaning, pest control, recycling, internal projects, technical asset management, and vendor management;
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance;
  • Support major organizational projects related to facilities management;
  • Ensure all facilities are properly maintained according to scheduled plans;
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations;
  • Oversee office space allocation and utilization;
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols;
  • Maintain detailed logs and draft relevant reports;
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors;
  • Deploy of Workspace (our desk Booking tool) management processes and procedures.

 

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Construction or Facilities company;
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel & AutoCAD;
  • Proficient level of spoken & written English.
