Job Description: Exterior Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Exterior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality exterior design projects that align with client requirements and company standards. This role requires expertise in producing layouts, renderings, videos, CAD files, and specification books to effectively communicate design concepts and ensure accurate project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present exterior design concepts, layouts, and detailed plans.
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations to illustrate design proposals.
- Produce CAD drawings and technical documentation for construction and implementation.
- Prepare specification books outlining materials, finishes, and design standards.
- Generate video presentations to showcase design concepts and project progress.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality.
- Ensure all deliverables meet project timelines and client expectations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2–3 years) in exterior design or architectural visualization.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent).
- Expertise in rendering tools (Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar).
- Ability to produce video presentations using design visualization software.
- Strong knowledge of specification writing and material documentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools and collaborative platforms.
