Export Data and Trade Specialist

• Act as the primary liaison between EDF and internal teams, ensuring project alignment with export data analytics objectives.

• Facilitate and lead business requirements gathering, analyzing and ensure required documentation related to EDF’s data analytics and other trade initiatives.

• Help develop and maintain Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) documents; ensure sign off thereof by the appropriate authority/stakeholders.

• Provide domain expertise in export trends, trade regulations, and data-driven decision making.

• Collaborate with IT design and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements in order to ensure delivery of quality product as per the business requirements.

• Oversee project progress, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of EDF-related software solutions and any other assigned tasks.

• Conduct training and workshops in collaboration with PSW change management team for stakeholders on system functionalities and analytics insights.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) conduct, validate system outputs against business needs and secure sign off by the relevant stakeholders.

• Manage new demands, change requests, system enhancements, ensuring risk documentation and impact analysis of suggested changes; and communication to relevant stakeholders before sign-off.

• Develop coordination mechanisms for cross functional collaboration to communicate business needs to relevant teams for translating them into effective technical solutions.

• Develop recurring stakeholder feedback cycle to initiate necessary improvements and adjustments to technology and system design.

• Participate in researching, evaluating, and contributing to RFI/RFP/RFQ content and technical requirements.

• Perform all aforementioned responsibilities in case PSW management assigns any other trade related project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, Data Science, or a related field.

• Overall experience of at least 10 years with 5+ years in trade analytics and process improvement, export-related projects, or business analysis in a data-driven environment.

• Strong expertise in export data analytics, trade compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

• Familiarity with technical documentation such as BRS and SRS documents, wireframes etc.

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analytics platforms is a plus.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Handling of enterprise level projects involving business process reengineering and automation of paper-based processes will be considered as an added advantage.
