What is Expert Media & Marketing Procurement?

The role reports directly to the Category Manager Media & Marketing – Procurement with an extended team of 08 team members

What does Expert Media & Marketing Procurement do?

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze requests and collaborates with stakeholders to plan relevant sourcing requirements on a day to day basis.
  • Build a strong relationship with End User and Media Agencies to translate the marketing requirements into media plans.
  • Negotiate with Media and Digital agencies for regular deals as per requirements.
  • Ability to research and identify potential solutions for the changing Media & Digital landscape.
  • Able to Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agencies to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and drive continuous results within specified timelines.
  • Analyze media spend and develop roadmap in continuous collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Service Operations team for PO issuance. 
  • Coordinate with User Department and Finance for payment cycles including tax implications on media deals.
  • Preparing of Dashboard and KPI reporting on weekly basis
  • Ability to run full RFP including project scoping, sourcing, evaluation and award of business.  
  • Collaborate with contract management team to finalize draft with vendors.
  • Conducting an interactive sourcing process along with end user and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Media & Marketing Procurement?

  • MS/MBA/BBA (preferably specialization in Mass Communications) with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Procurement.
  • Well versed with Procurement policies and practises.
  • Imperative to be a team player and also able to manager internal & external stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience of using Oracle and familiar with new technology tools used in reporting and analytics.
  • Strong Communication skill with the ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Out of box thinking.
