About the role


Using your expert knowledge and extensive network, you will be responsible for screening lot submissions and creating attractive lot listings every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone which Audio & Hi-Fi equipment are of interest to our users. You will review lot titles, descriptions, and pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. We are looking for a candidate with clear domain expertise in Audio & Hi-Fi components, additionally knowledge on Bang and Olufsen systems, tube radios and gramophones.

This position is remote facing, and can be conducted from either The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Portugal.


What you’ll bring

  • A deep understanding of contemporary, modern and vintage electronics (Integrated and discrete technologies).
  • An eye for the latest audio trends.
  • A regular contributor within the audio community.
  • Deep knowledge of the audio market, specifically within the vintage area.
  • Commercial experience and mentality, with experience trading and visiting fairs/events.
  • Preferably knowledge in basic music theory.
  • Solid knowledge on broader popular genres.
  • Additional spoken languages.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
